Keys locked inside a vehicle is one of the most common calls we take, and it happens to careful people. Keys left on the seat, in the ignition, in the boot, or a door that locks itself the moment it closes.
We open the vehicle on the spot using proper lockout tools. No broken window, no forced door, and the weather seals and paint are left as they were.
We handle ordinary key locks, power locks, keyless entry and push-button start vehicles. Newer vehicles with electronic locks need a different approach to older ones, and our drivers carry the tools for both.
Common situations are a supermarket or plaza lot, an underground garage, a driveway at home, a work site, a gas station, and the car park at an arena or community centre.
If the key is not just locked inside but lost or broken, that is a different job and we will tell you honestly on the phone. In those cases we can tow the vehicle to a locksmith or dealership instead.
